How To Disable Voice Chat in League of Legends?

Online multiplayer games like League of Legends thrive on coordination and communication from the starting minutes of the game to the end moments.

The most convenient and quick way of communication can be the in-game voice chat feature but it doesn’t take long for it to become annoying. Let’s find out how you can disable voice chat in League of Legends if it’s not the right fit of communication for you.

You can disable voice chat by either muting a specific player once you are in a party or a game or you can disable the voice chat altogether from the League of Legends client.

There are numerous methods with which you can do this, we have mentioned all of them in detail below.

Using the Client

You can use the client settings to disable voice chat completely and won’t let you join the voice chats entirely before starting a game.

This form of disabling is recommended if you have to do nothing with voice chat at all.

Use the following steps to disable the chat:

  1.  Open the League of Legends Client
  2.  Go to settingsSelect the tab titled ‘Voice’
  3. Untick the “Join Voice Channel Automatically” option.
  4. Click done to save the changes.

Manually Disabling Voice Chat Through in the Party

If you don’t wish to disable voice chat permanently or for a long time but you still play with some players with whom you’ll be more comfortable if you don’t listen to them.

You disable voice chat specifically for them when you are in a party with them.

Use the following steps:

  1. Join the party or invite them to yours
  2. Click the microphone icon on the bottom right
  3. Click the speaker icon adjacent to the player’s name to mute them specifically
  4. Press the telephone icon a the bottom of the voice chat menu to leave the voice channel completely

Disabling Voice Chat In-game

How many times have you dealt with a teammate who started off cool and smooth but as the game progresses they become toxic and abusive due to the enemy team ganking on them or they are playing against an annoying champion or maybe they are not being toxic and you just want to focus on the game.

Whatever the reason may be for their outburst, you can always mute them in-game by following almost the same steps as discussed earlier in the party voice chat section.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click on the microphone icon on the left side of your map.
  2. Click the speaker icon adjacent to the player’s name to mute them specifically.
  3. Click the speaker icon adjacent to the player’s name to mute them specifically.
  4. Press the telephone icon a the bottom of the in-game voice chat menu to leave the voice channel completely.

How To Mute Yourself

League of Legends client allows you to automatically unjoin the voice channel in the game as we discussed earlier, just like that it also has the option of allowing you to join the game automatically muted. This can be a pretty convenient method, you just need to follow these steps below.

  1. Open the League of Legends Client.
  2. Go to settings.
  3. Select the tab titled ‘Voice’.
  4. Tick the “Mute me When I connect League Voice” option.
  5. Click done to save these changes.

You can mute yourself in-game by clicking the microphone right next to the map, you’ll see another microphone option next to your name, click it and you’ll be muted in-game.

Importance of Voice Chat in League of Legends

We can go all day talking about how toxic, annoying, and enraging the voice chat of League can be but we can’t deny its benefits.

Voice chats play a vital role in multiplayer team games, there are famous dedicated apps designed just for this purpose, like discord.

In games like League of Legends when coordination can be the difference bet a loss and a win, the quality of the game-play will always pivot around vocal communication.

Top 7 Best Hard Carry Champions in League of Legends

Dread them, run from them; feeders still arrive. Bad teams can make games feel close to impossible in League of Legends. No matter how well you play or how hard you win your lane, sometimes there’s just nothing you can do to pull out the W. It’s a sad fact of League, but one we need to accept and learn to workaround.

One way many high-rank players choose to combat feeders is to play hard carries; Champions that can carry the game completely solo. If you don’t need to rely on your team to win, you will win more games. I’m a firm believer that good players will rise to the top if they play well, but they need to be on Champions that can reward their skills.

What Makes a Champion a Hard Carry?

  • Early Game Kill Potential: Most hard carries need to be able to stomp their lane. This lets them get ahead in the early game and snowball their advantage by either split pushing or ganking other lanes.
  • Insane Scaling: If a Champion does not have early game kill potential, they may still be a hard carry. If the Champion scales to god-mode levels in the late game, then it can be extremely easy to carry games if you can consistently drag games out.
  • Not Reliant on Team: This is the big one. A hard carry cannot rely on their team. Champions like Malphite and Jarvan IV can carry games with huge ultimates, but only if they’re fed or their team follows up. A hard carry doesn’t need their team to win and can take a slight advantage and stretch it out into a win.

7. Shaco

Shaco is my personal favorite Jungler because he controls the early game like no other Champion can. His damage is pretty good early game, but he can’t 1v1 many Champions. Where Shaco shines is in his ganks. Shaco’s Q turns him invisible and makes it very easy to position himself for free kills.

Shaco is also a proficient counter-jungling Champion. Counter Jungling can hard carry games on its own. Shutting down the enemy Jungler is a great way to secure objectives and completely tilt the enemy team.

When you play Shaco, your goal is to kill as many people as possible in as many lanes as possible. You want the enemy team to feel like you’re everywhere, all at once. Make sure not to forget about farming your Jungle, though, as it is easy to quickly fall behind on levels and become useless.

Strengths:

  • Very Easy early game Ganks, thanks to Q and E damage
  • Very Mobile thanks to Q. Can run the map
  • R Lets him easily solo Drake at level 6 and beyond

Weaknesses:

  • Team fights are difficult if the enemy team peels their carry
  • Easy to fall behind on levels
  • Red Trinket can shut Shaco down. Learn to play around its cooldown

6. Ahri

Ahri has recently received a powerful buff, which has made her the best assassin in the game. Her R now gains an extra charge with every single takedown she nabs while it’s active. This allows Ahri to dive in, kill someone, dive out (or kill someone else).

Ahri is so strong because of how versatile she is. She can fight and kite with her backline, dive enemy carries, or look for picks on enemy Champions that are caught out. Ahri is only so far up on this list because it can be a little challenging to find kills on her during the laning phase. Once she hits level 6, however, all of the doors swing wide open. She can roam bot lane, bully the enemy Jungler, or all in her enemy laner.

Ahri’s damage is another huge point for her. She’s an assassin, and her maxed-out W can quickly burst down enemies. It’s also on a very low cooldown, so she can constantly spit out damage while kiting around with her movement speed and her R.

Strengths:

  • Ahri can play backline with her ADC or dive the enemy carries with her tanks
  • Insane pick potential with her E – Q – W combo
  • Very mobile thanks to R, which allows her to roam or engage

Weaknesses:

  • Bad split pusher
  • Cannot always bully lane
  • Needs items for damage to come online

5. Tryndamere

Alright, so I’m sure we’ve all seen a Tryndamere run it down in the Top lane. Tryndamere is so good at hard carrying games because he can demolish turrets and apply endless pressure. If Tryndamere gets in a sticky situation (1v3+), usually he’ll be able to nab a kill or two before being put down or escaping.

Tryndamere is a lane bully against most other Champions, and even when he isn’t, he’ll find his way. One of the hardest parts about playing Tryndamere is learning when to split push and when to back off. Most players make the mistake of trying to play with their team once they get fed and then accidentally throwing the game in a few bad team fights.

Strengths:

  • His R and damage make it possible to win 1v3 situations
  • Can bully most lanes
  • Infinite split push potential in the mid-late game

Weaknesses:

  • Useless if he can’t split push (if someone can 1v1 him)
  • Needs great game sense and Macro decision making
  • Split push strategy can tilt the team

4. Master Yi

Yi is a notorious late-game carry. No one wants to see a Yi make it to his full build. This is because he becomes almost impossible to kill, thanks to infinite Qs and massive lifesteal. A fed Master Yi has many options, which is why he’s a hard carry.

He can play with his team, and Penta kill the enemy with a few right-clicks, or he can split push and take the Nexus if left alone.

Yi is also very good at taking objectives. He can solo Drake very easily and eventually Baron if he plays it well (Q the Baron attacks). This means he rewards macro-oriented players quite a bit, but there is plenty of room for micro-heavy players to carry.

Yi’s main weakness is in his early game. He has no real gank potential until level 6 unless his team sets him up, and he loses the 1v1 to many Meta Junglers. However, most solo queue games go pretty late, and there are usually opportunities to start your snowball early.

Strengths:

  • Very easy to steamroll when fed (much more so than the typical Champion)
  • Q and W give him insane 1v1 potential once he has items
  • Can split push or team fight and solo objectives (Drake / Harold / Baron)

Weaknesses:

  • Weak early game ganks
  • Team fights are hard if not fed
  • Needs to be fed to carry

3. Blitzcrank

I needed to put a Support on here and wasn’t sure if I should go with Blitz, Pyke, or Thresh. I also thought about Casters like Lux and Brand. However, in the end, I decided on the classic Blitzcrank. Blitz has a very simple carry concept. Hit hooks, get kills.

Blitzcrank is a hard carry because he can win a losing game with one simple ability. Good Blitzcranks will set up wards and clear enemy vision in order to set their teams up for kills. They will also look for roams to the Mid lane and work with their enemy Jungler to completely control the bottom half of the map.

Blitz’s main weakness is actually in his laning phase. If he misses a hook, he becomes a target dummy. If his ADC can’t be aggressive, then Blitz will be forced to sit in a bush and beep boop until his Jungler ganks.

Strengths:

  • Getting picks with Q can win games
  • Very good invade
  • Can stomp lane if paired with the right ADC

Weaknesses:

  • Not much going for him other than Hook
  • Low damage output after the early-game
  • He can be bullied in lane (if he misses hook)

2. Caitlyn

Caitlyn is my favorite hard carry ADC for one simple reason; it really doesn’t matter what your Support does. As someone with a lot of experience solo queueing as ADC, having a Support that doesn’t play how you play is one of the most frustrating experiences in all of League of Legends.

Having a Support that is too passive while you’re trying to be aggressive can get you killed—having a Support that is too agro while you’re trying to farm and play passive can get them killed (which will get the enemy ADC fed and get you killed…). On the other hand, Caitlyn can play as aggressively as she wants, and her range will keep her safe whether her support backs her up or not.

Cait is a hard carry because she is the biggest ADC lane bully in the game. Anytime the enemy ADC tries to auto-attack a minion, she can auto them. She can Q them, and she can trap them and nail headshot after headshot until she pokes them down to nothing. Good Caitlyns will win lane almost every game they play, with or without their Support.

Strengths:

  • Range lets her bully almost every other ADC during the laning phase
  • Can pump out damage whether fed or not
  • Her range makes it very easy to siege turrets and take objectives

Weaknesses

  • Traps can be hard to use
  • Susceptible to ganks and being camped (E is not the best escape)
  • Low burst damage makes it hard to win 1v1s if not fed

1. Yasuo

Yasuo is number one on my list because I’m salty and because I don’t know enough about Yone to write about him. Yasuo is not the first king of hard carry, but he’s one of the most notorious along with Tryndamere. We’ve all had an enemy Yasuo 1v5, Windwalling every ability that could stop him and life-stealing more damage than we can deal. We’ve also all had a friendly Yasuo go 0/10 and continue failing at 1v5s.

He’s truly a Champion that is made or broke, depending on the player. Most Yasuo players have tasted both sides of the coin. The trick to hard carrying on Yasuo is consistency. Learn how to get to god-mode status every game.

Know which Champs you won’t be able to fight and how you’ll get fed if you can’t kill your lane opponent. It’s also important to know how to play once you are fed. When you should split push and when you should team fight.

Strengths:

  • Insane 1v1 and 1v2 potential, especially with items
  • Good split push and good team fight
  • Windwall can shutdown enemy ADCs and Mages

Weaknesses:

  • Only strong when fed
  • Large learning curve
  • Ranged Mids can bully him early-game

How to Unlock Skins in Teamfight Tactics?

Is there anything sweeter than the Little Legends? Well, various skins make the look of these tiny creatures even more beautiful, which we loved as soon as Riot Games released Teamfight Tactics. Let’s repeat, Teamfight Tactics is actually a spin-off version of the mega-popular League of Legends game where you need to think tactically to beat your seven opponents and be the last player standing.

In this article, we will talk about the skins you can collect in Teamfight Tactics and how you can get them. If you are ready, let’s begin.

Guide on Teamfight Tactics Little Legends

Little Legends are small, cute creatures that actually represent players in Teamfight Tactics. Unlike champions you can’t control on the battlefield, Little Legends you can control during a match. With your Little Legend, you choose units from Carousel and collect item orbs.

The Little Legends can be customized and changed for the player to adapt to their gameplay. There are currently six species of Little Legends, Runespirit, Silverwing, Furyhorn, Molediver, Featherknight, and Hauntling.

When you first start playing Teamfight Tactics, you will get a default avatar called River Sprite. After a few matches, you will be able to choose between Molediver, Silverwing, or Runespirit. This is followed by the option to purchase the Little Legends you want.

Also, via Eggs, you can unlock other Little Legends. Eggs are similar to Chests from League of Legends, and you buy them with Riot Points. Also, you can get an Egg from Missions if you don’t want to buy them from the Riot store.

Types of Eggs

  • Series 1 Rare Egg (Random Furyhorn, Hauntling, or Silverwing) – 490 Riot Points
  • Series 2 Rare Egg (Random Featherknight, Molvediver, or Runespirit) – 490 Riot Points
  • Little Legend Egg (Specific Type) – 750 Riot Points
  • 10+1 Little Legends Series 1 Rare Eggs – 4,900 Riot Points
  • 10+1 Little Legends Series 2 Rare Eggs – 4,900 Riot Points

And here’s a comparison of the dollar and RP how much you can get for a certain amount of real money.

  • 650 RP – $5.00 USD
  • 1,380 RP – $10.00 USD
  • 2,800 RP – $20.00 USD
  • 5,000 RP – $35.00 USD
  • 7,200 RP – $50.00 USD
  • 15,000 RP – $100.00 USD

Furthermore, each one Little Legend has three stars, which means it can be upgraded. For upgrading your Little Legend you will need a particular variant of it and then buy the same variant from egg. This will upgrade it to the next tier.

List of Little Legends

So, let’s talk more about Little Legends. Here is a list of all the Little Legends you can collect in the game. As we have already said, each of them has three tiers, and it starts from the first tier. If the same tier opens in Egg, Little Legend moves on to the next tier. When Little Legend has all three tier it will no longer be received in eggs. Here there are:

Featherknights

  • Pengu Featherknight
  • Ravenlord Featherknight
  • True Ice Featherknight
  • Extra Spicy Featherknight
  • Cheeper Featherknight
  • Sakura Featherknight

Furyhorns

  • Molten Furyhorn
  • Void-Marked Furyhorn
  • Willowbark Furyhorn
  • Lionheart Furyhorn
  • Sugarcone Furyhorn
  • Tundra Furyhorn

Silverwing

  • Demacian Silverwing
  • Lost Silverwing
  • Tropical Silverwing
  • Rosebloom Silverwing
  • Dawnglow Silverwing
  • Snow Cherry Silverwing

Hauntling

  • Shadowmask Hauntling
  • Dark Matter Hauntling
  • Toxic Hauntling
  • Lunar Claw Hauntling
  • Fireborn Hauntling

Molediver

  • Toxic Molediver
  • Clumsy Molediver
  • Fresh Water Molediver
  • Skydance Molediver
  • Blazebattle Molediver
  • Soft – nosed Molediver

Runespirit

  • Sakura Runespirit
  • Glacial Runespirit
  • Black Mist Runespirit
  • Seedling Runespirit
  • Brambleback Runespirit
  • Sentinel Runespirit

Besides skins, Teamfight Tactics has more content you can unlock, and some have been used in League of Legends, which you probably already know. For example, emotes and icons work both in Teamfight Tactics and League of Legends, while Little Legends and Rift Arenas work only in Teamfight Tactics.

This is another specificity of Teamfight Tactics – you can change the look of the fight arena. Great, huh? In addition to the default arena layout, there are more additional skins that you can earn or buy it. Only then you will be able to edit the look of the Arena. Blue Arena can be unlocked at level 2, while Purple Arena can be unlocked at level 7.

Final Thoughts

To summarize all that we talked about in this article, we will focus on the most important question – how to unlock cosmetics in Teamfight Tactics. We are most interested in Little Legends skins and how to collect them to expand your collection.

As we said below, Little Legends are playable characters in Teamfight Tactics, unlike champions which you can’t control on a battlefield as you can control them in a League of Legends match. There are currently 6 Little Legends (we’ve also listed new characters you can win during the Lunar New Year event that appeared with Patch 12.2.) that you can find if you open Eggs, which are similar to Hextech Chest, another familiar item from League of Legends.

Each Little Legend can be upgraded to three tiers, and you can upgrade it by opening Eggs. We have also listed the special types of Eggs and how to buy them. However, Teamfight Tactics is a relatively new game, and so far, there is not much content that players can win, but we have no doubt that Riot Games will add new content to the game because this is a game with a bright future. After all, it already has a large number of players, and we are excited about new game updates.

How Does Duo Queue Boosting Work?

League of Legends houses a complete ranking system that divides players by their skill level respectively. Ranking highly is a commonly shared goal amongst the players; however, not everyone is able to reach their desired rank. That is why some people resort to boosting, more specifically duo queue boosting.

What is Duo Queue Boosting in League of Legends?

Duo queue boosting refers to raising your ranked division by means of hiring someone of high ranking to carry you in your ranked games.

This means playing alongside a high-ranked player who will try to carry your games and help rank you up through the tiers. It is a very easy way to rank up in League of Legends.

Duo queue boosting is available as a service online, however, it is not recommended because it is a way of cheating the ranked system in LoL and it is bannable by Riot Games.

What is Boosting in League of Legends?

Boosting in League of Legends refers to hiring a professional to improve your rank and lending them your account for them to play in your place.

Boosting is available as a service to everyone and it costs a certain amount of money per rank division that will be offered to help you climb. Many people are willing to offer their skill as a boosting service in return for a money payment.

Ranking System in League of Legends

League of Legends harbors a full ranking system based on skill level. It is divided into nine tiers. Starting from the lowest, Iron, all the way up to Challenger. Ranks are reset every year with each new season.

Ranks in LoL

There are nine tiers in League of Legends in terms of ranks. From Iron to Challenger, there are four divisions within each up till Diamond, one being the highest and four being the lowest.

While Iron to Diamond tiers has four divisions, Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger ranks work slightly differently. You climb purely by the number of LP you have. All of the ranks in League of Legends are listed below:

  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Master
  • Grandmaster
  • Challenger

Rank Badges

Ranked badges in League of Legends have seen a couple of overhauls in the past. Here are all of the badges League of Legends has ever offered:

Ranked Rewards

Through each ranked split and at the end of each season, players are rewarded for their standings. The rewards include icons, emotes, champion shards, Eternals, badges, and even skins from the Victorious skin line that is exclusive to players who place Gold 4 or above. The higher you end your ranked season, you more rewards you get. Players of the highest ranks even get rewarded chromas for the Victorious skins.

A new ranked reward that has been introduced in League of Legends is the Challenger Recall. If you end a season as Challenger, you will receive a special recall animation.

League Points

LP refers to “League Points” which is the rating you gain or lose depending on the outcome of the ranked game you play.

Rank rating means the number of points gained or lost from a ranked game. The more you win, the more LP you consistently gain. In the same way, the more you lose the bigger decrease you will experience in terms of LP.

LP Gain

LP gain refers to the amount of rank rating you receive per win. The more LP you gain, the faster you climb the ranks in League of Legends.

You can gain from ~12LP all the way up to ~30LP depending on your win rate in Ranked Solo/Duo or Flex Queue. The more you win, the more LP you are to gain. This is the reason people aim to go on win streaks to gain as much LP as they possibly can.

LP Loss

LP loss refers to the amount of rank rating you lose per loss in a ranked game in League of Legends.

The more games you lose, the more LP you are likely to lose per loss. Going on loss streaks leads to an increase in LP losses.

What is MMR?

MMR stands for ‘Match Making Rating’. It ranges between 0 and 2500, given by Riot Games to determine how strong they are compared to others.

It is different from your LP. The amount of LP you gain or lose is based on your MMR.

Boosting Services in League of Legends

In League of Legends, many people offer boosting services. It is a way to earn a lot of money for a lot of people who are in the top ranks. Some people turn it into businesses while others do it on a much smaller level only to earn some extra cash.

It is said that on average, a booster makes up to $2000 per month. Considering the amount of money that is made only from getting people from one rank to another, it is a well-paying gig, however, it is a way of cheating the system. One should not resort to climbing by such means if you cannot buy skill therefore you should not be allowed to buy a rank. If you’re more interested on how this process works, here’s how much boosting costs in reality.

Is Getting Boosting Services in LoL Worth It?

No, it is not worth getting boosting services in League of Legends because it puts you at a rank where you do not belong by means of cheating the system.

Getting boosting services only makes the games harder for you, resulting in you performing worse in your games. Since you would be jumping to a much harder elo, you may struggle in it a lot, potentially weighing your team down.

It also disrupts the matchmaking system putting a low elo player in high elo. It lowers the credibility and fun of the games. It puts one team at a big disadvantage compared to the other.

Also read: Is Smurfing Bannable in League of Legends?

Is Boosting in LoL Bannable?

Yes and No. Boosting in League of Legends is bannable. Boosting MMR of an account can be detected by Riot Games or can be investigated upon being reported in-game. However, duo boosting does not involve giving up access to your account to another player therefore it is less likely to be punished.

Benefits of Duo Boosting in LoL

Some benefits of duo boosting in League of Legends are:

  1. It is less risky as Riot cannot stop you from queueing with a ‘friend’.
  2. Playing with a player of Challenger rank or of such level boosts your game knowledge as they guide you through the game and tell you important details that you neglect in your games each day.
  3. You are guaranteed to have someone on your team who wants to win at all times just as you do.

Rank Decaying in League of Legends

Anyone ranked Diamond or above will lose their rank by demoting or ‘decaying’ to a lower rank if they do not play for a certain time. The amount of time you can spend without playing ranked while being ranked higher than Diamond decreases the higher you are ranked.

The time it takes before you decay as a Diamond is one month. The time it takes before you decay as Master, Grandmaster or Challenger player is 14 days.

Common Champions Used while for Boosting

Some champions that are commonly used while duo boosting have been listed below

  • Master Yi
  • Viego
  • Jax
  • Katarina
  • Riven
  • Kayle and Yi (Duo)
  • Taric and Master Yi (Duo)

Final Thoughts

Duo queue boosting is a commonly resorted way to climbing the ranks fast without putting in much effort. It is an effective but costly option. Duo queue boosting is also safer than hiring someone to boost your account for you all by themselves.

Have you ever been offered boosting? Have you ever considered it? What are your thoughts on duo queue boosting? We love hearing your feedback, so hit us with it in the comment section below!

What is Quick Cast in League of Legends And Why Should You Use It?

The quick cast option was previously known as “smart cast.” Riot changed the name of this characteristic of some of the abilities in League of Legends in the patch V3.12 that came out in October 2013. Despite the name change that happened almost ten years ago, some players still refer to it as smart cast.

So, what is a quick or smart cast? It’s a characteristic you can turn on in-game for all champion abilities. It automatically casts the selected ability towards the current position of your cursor. This eliminates one step, which is clicking on your target. Usually, you would have to click on the ability and then on the target. With quick cast, it’s only one click instead of two.

For example, if you are playing with Blitzcrank, the hook will be shot in the direction of your mouse, but it won’t show you the range indicator. When you press Q for this ability, it will just shoot the hook where your mouse is at that moment. In the picture below, the player needs to keep their cursor on Ryze, but with the quick cast, you can just keep it around the general direction of your opponent.

This can be a game-changer for some abilities because it speeds up your game. Split seconds matter in a game like League of Legends. However, for some abilities, the fact that you save time is offset by the toll quick cast can have on your precision. Essentially, quick cast works really well for self-buff abilities or grounded-target abilities. However, they might not work as well for skill shots and targeted abilities.

This is all a little confusing, so to simplify, we made split champions and abilities into three categories. In these categories, you will find popular champions and how their abilities react with quick cast. For some champions and their abilities, quick cast is beneficial. For some, not so much. For others, some abilities always have quick cast on by default. Now that you know what it is, here are a few more examples of how it works so you can find the best option for you.

Quick Cast Pros

Like we said, for more passive abilities, quick cast can be a game-changer. A good example of this is Annie’s Disintegrate (Q) or her ult Tibbers (R). Overall, Annie is a good champion to play on quick cast. As mentioned, quick cast works the best with champions whose abilities are mostly self-buffs and ground target. Another champion that’s perfect for quick cast is Sona.

Other examples of champions and abilities great for quick cast can be split into four categories. First would be fast single targeted abilities with relatively low cooldowns, some examples are Singed’s Fling (E), Fizz’s Urchin Strike (Q), and Teemo’s Blinding Dart (Q). The second category is sort of spammy abilities with really low cooldowns like Ahri’s Orb of Deception (Q), Zigg’s Bouncing Bomb (Q), or Mundo’s Infected Cleaver (Q).

The third category of abilities that’s great for quick cast are dash-like abilities. Think of Ahri’s ult Spirit Rush (R). So, anything you can use to swiftly escape or come closer to your target. Notable examples are Ezrael’s Arcane Shift (E), Master Yi’s Alpha Strike (Q), or Tryndamere’s Spinning Slash (E). Last but not least, are the abilities that are designed mainly for crowd control and can be implemented fast. The best example of this is probably Lux’s Light Binding (Q). Other examples are Jarvan’s Dragon Strike (Q) and Demacian Standart (E) combo or Maokai’s Nature’s Grasp (R).

Basically, almost every champion that relies on the abilities that can be effective but do not require the cursor to be extremely precise will perform excellent with the quick cast. However, it’s not all fun and games, pun intended.

Also read: The Best Rengar Combos

Quick Cast Cons

Basically, eliminating one click can work great for supporting champions with healing abilities, but this time-saving option can ultimately cost you a kill and the game if you need precision. Blitzcrank’s Rocket Grab (Q) that we talked about before is a great example of this duality. If you are an experienced Blirzcrank player quick cast can increase your reaction time because you know where your cursor should be at all times, but if you are learning, your aim matters.

Other examples of quick cast “debuffs” are:

  • Nami’s Aqua Prison (Q),
  • Pantheon’s Grand Skyfall (R)
  • Viegar’s Event Horizon (E)
  • Chogath’s Rupture (Q)
  • Grag’s Explosive Cask (R)
  • Ziggs’ Mega Inferno Bomb (R)
  • Amumu’s Bandage Toss (Q)
  • Lee Sin’s Sonic Wave (Q)

Quick Cast by Default

Another thing we have to discuss before concluding is that some champions have abilities where the quick cast setting is enabled by default. We talked about Ahri’s ult Spirit Rush (R) as the ultimate dash-like ability that’s great for quick cast. Well, that ability has quick cast enabled by default actually.

Before thinking about turning quick cast off or on, check if the champion has a default so you are not surprised. Some other examples are Cassiopeia’s Noxious Blast (Q), Vayne’s Tumble (Q), or Fizz’s Playful/Trickster (E). Another example is “Flash,” as in the additional summoner spell you can choose before the game.

Conclusion

Quick cast can save you some precious seconds that can determine the course of the game. However, it all depends on your skill level with the champion you chose, and the champion itself. You have to keep two things in mind when deciding to turn quick cast off or on: (1) the primary abilities of the champion and (2) your familiarity with the champion.

If the primary abilities of the champion have low cooldowns and are heavily ground-target, quick cast is an excellent option for that champion no matter your skill. However, if the champion’s abilities require extreme precision, quick cast is not the best option unless you are highly skilled with this champion.

Top 5 Most Toxic League Of Legends Players

League of Legends and toxicity go hand in hand. Anyone who has spent time playing a few hundred games has probably experienced a taste of this toxicity.

Content Creators are no different in this regard. While a lot of streamers are known for their skills, some just earned a name for themselves by having an over-the-top toxic personality.

Some of the most toxic players to ever play League of Legends include popular names like Tyler1, RATIRL, Ap0calypse, DarkwinJax and PornstarZilean. These players initially gained their fanbase for their rude behavior in the game or on their streams.

Today we will take a look at the profiles of these players and judge how their behavior used to be in the past and how much it has changed today. This article does not promote toxicity but serves as an example to stay away from it.

5. RATIRL

Introduction

RATIRL is one of the most renowned personalities in the EUW League of Legends community. Often referred to as ‘Anton’, RATIRL is a high elo player who first became famous for his skills on the champion Twitch. He was a part of the infamous “L9” group on EUW.

History

RATIRL also gained popularity for being a booster. Around Season 4, various accounts with extremely high win rates on Twitch Jungler started popping up in high elo. This boosting service, combined with his L9 association made me notorious across the server, with multiple people adding L9 to their names to show their interest in this matter.

While originally he was suspected to be scripting because of his mechanical skills, these doubts were dispelled as soon as he started streaming and proved that he, in fact, is a very skilled player.

RATIRL earns a large amount of money from his stream donations on Twitch TV. He doesn’t like to spend it on extravagant things (except his car) and lives with his parents in Sweden. He is known for receiving a lot of subscribers for his popular emotes. These emotes are based on Pepe the Frog but are drawn to look like rats. He also sold cups with these emotes printed on them.

Current State

RATIRL is currently one of the most famous League of Legends streamers. He streams without a camera, and sometimes without a mic and his infamous playlist playing in the background. He gets a lot of ‘gifters’, people who gift a large number of subscriptions to his channel. While he has been involved in drama with various streamers, he is on good terms with a lot of them including Drututt, Thebausffs, YamatosDeath, Fencebarcode, and IWillDominate.

4. Ap0calypse

Introduction

Commonly known as “Ap0”, Ap0calypse was originally known to be an extremely toxic high elo player. He was also one of the four members of L9. He was known for playing Mordekaiser all day, every day. But ever since the Mordekaiser rework, he stopped playing it and switch to Janna.

History

Ap0calypse based his entire identity on being edgy and over the top toxic to everyone else. He had a complete disregard for respect towards himself and anyone else. He tried his absolute best to make others feel threatened and miserable, for no purpose than to satisfy his own ego.

Ap0calypse was known for being extremely racist, offensive, and generally unpleasant in every interaction. Occasionally, whenever he streamed, he was drunk and kept using racist remarks like calling people ‘black’ as an insult and using the n-word.

Despite receiving permanent bans, he kept making new accounts and reaching high elo with them.

He was involved in a controversy where he expressed attractiveness toward a champion in the game because “she look[s] 14”.

He was friends with RATIRL until he sold all of RATIRL’s old accounts without his permission, and the two have allegedly barely spoken since then. There were rumors that he had died but they have been long since disproven.

Current State

In recent years, Ap0calypse can be found playing Janna in high challenger games. In Season

10, he was the Rank 1 player on the EUW ladder for the longest time and finished the Season while holding his title. Currently, although not entirely reformed, his behavior has improved by quite a large margin.

3. PornstarZilean

Introduction

PornstarZilean, simply referred to as PSZ, is a high elo Draven player. He was known for his high mechanical skills on the champion Draven. He was known for inventing the infamous ‘Disco Nunu’ inting strategy and trolling multiple people including Gross Gore with it.

History

PornstarZilean used to play Draven in high elo, often duo with someone else. One of his duo was OPShaco, a Shaco one trick in high elo. The duo was notorious for ‘running it down’ in games and inting games by troll-picking champions. He has been permanently banned multiple times

PornstarZilean’s Disco Nunu strategy became famous when he would pick Nunu with Clairvoyance and Clarity, buy Red Trinket and boots, and then walk to mid lane.

He would then stand in the middle of the lane and use his Red Trinket and Summoner Spells while dancing with his champion to create a Disco-like environment.

Not much is known about his personality. For most of his career, he played with a mic and camera. PornstarZilean also reached Rank 1 playing Draven and Karthus with an impressive win rate. He used to duo with Ap0calpyse as well, where the duo would go to bot lane with Draven and Janna and destroy their competition.

Current State

In the last couple of years, PornstarZilean was streaming occasionally with a camera but no microphone. He would play his “Ear R*pe” music, loved by his fans, at a very high volume.

He was still playing Draven and Karthus until few months ago when he disappeared and didn’t stream on his main channel ever since. He was still seen duo’ing with some people on the ranked ladder.

2. Darkwinjax

Introduction

DarkwinJax is a recognizable name for high elo players. He was an extremely toxic player who had multiple accounts banned for toxicity. His DarkwinJax account accumulated over 1000 reports in the span of 375 games. He was described on the forums in the following terms:

“The DarkwinJax account established the highest harassment score ever recorded on the EU West server. No player, before or since, has matched this degree of negative behavior. In game chat, Abusagr has threatened to physically injure players, including a Riot employee.”

History

He was a professional player for ‘Team Solo Mebdi’ with Nukeduck, Jensen and Yamatocannon. His username back then was ‘StunnedandSlayed’. DarkwinJax was known for his extreme toxicity in SoloQ and for “operating under multiple banned accounts”.

Team Solo Mebdi was on its way to compete in the offline qualifiers for the 2013 EU LCS Spring Offline Qualifiers when they received news that would cause the team to dissolve. DarkwinJax, along with Jensen (called Veigodx), was indefinitely banned from competing in any Riot affiliated League of Legends tournament. Yamatocannon’s official statement on this matter can be read here.

Current State

Currently, DarkwinJax is a retired professional player who plays mainly Master Yi jungle in high elo. He has apologized for his actions in the past and now he occasionally streams on Twitch Tv. He is known for attempting various challenges on new accounts. In these challenges, he attempts to get high elo without getting banned for toxicity or without flaming his teammates.

1. Tyler1

Introduction

Anyone who has heard of League of Legends has probably heard of Tyler1. He is probably the most famous League of Legends streamer from NA. He was known to be extremely toxic in the past which lead to an indefinite ban that lasted from 2016 to 2018.

History

Until 2016, Tyler1 was a fairly high elo player on the NA server, known for his toxicity on the rift. He used to sabotage games if he didn’t like a player on his team. He would cover his map with the letters “KYS” and would intentionally feed the game if anyone else picked ADC. This led to about 22 unique accounts of his being banned.

On April 30, 2016, Tyler1 was announced to be indefinitely banned from owning any League of Legends account for his history of verbal abuse. This lead to Tyler1 branching off to other form of content to keep his stream alive as any account he would show himself playing on stream would get banned.

In January 2018, Tyler1 was unbanned by Riot Games and his first stream peaked at 382,000 viewers. He retained a fair amount of those viewers and continued to play League of Legends for multiple hours a day.

Current State

In recent years, Tyler1 held his Tyler1 Championship Series (TCS) which was very popular among high elo players. He also reached Challenger on NA with every single role as of 2022.

He was signed by T1 as a contact creator until the two parted ways recently. He still remains one of the most-watched League of Legends streamers.

Conclusion

While toxicity is a rampant issue in the League of Legends community, it goes without saying that there are better ways of dealing with it than to feed into it.

If you encounter toxic behavior in the game, please make sure to mute those players and remember that no game should make you bring out your worst self.

How to Play Teamfight Tactics on PBE?

Hello, Teamfight Tactics lovers! Given the growing popularity of this new gaming franchise produced by the Riot Games factory, called Teamfight Tactics, it is no wonder that this game is getting better and better.

Riot Games strives to enrich this game with frequent updates where it presents new content, units, Little Legends skins, etc. What many of you are interested in is how to play Teamfight Tactics on a PBE account.

Well, Riot Games has made an effort to provide you with this opportunity that we have linked to the League of Legends so far. In the following article, we will explain what a PBE account actually is, how to activate it and how to play Teamfight Tactics with a PBE account. Stay tuned.

Also read: Is Teamfight Tactics a Matchmade Game?

What is a PBE account?

Are you so curious and impatient that you want to find out first what this new update in Teamfight Tactics will bring? In addition, do you want to be among the first players to try out new content and see how the game works with new features?

Well, then you must have heard of PBE, which stands for Public Beta Environment. This Public Beta Environment is a special server that allows individual players to test new content that Riot has not yet released before all other players.

We will repeat; briefly, Teamfight Tactics have been with us since 2019; it is an auto-battler game where like chess, it is most important to find the right tactics and strategy. Unlike League of Legends, here, you do not control champions but only buy and upgrade them with items to be as strong as possible and to bring you victory.

How Do I Get A Valid Pbe Account?

Since Teamfight Tactics is part of the League of Legends client and can only be accessed through the client, you need a valid League of Legends account to access the PBE server. The first step is that your account has a minimum honor level of two.

Your Honor rank grows depending on whether your teammates will recognize after the match that you were a quality teammate or not. Your teammates can honor you if they see that you had the most kills, or that you killed the most minions, or maybe you were an outstanding Support player.

So, to get those honors, make an effort to work with your teammates, praise their efforts, and not play for yourself but for the whole team, even if it involves some sacrifices during the match. All of this will affect your Honor rank. This also means that you have to be an active player because the honor level always resets at the beginning of new season, so you have to play a lot of matches in order for your honor level to reach level two and become compatible with getting the PBE account.

Also, your account must not have any restrictions or bans because you will not be able to access the PBE account. Riot does not want players to troll or harass other players, and your account must be clean in order to have the privilege of playing on a PBE server. The fair decision, we could say.

To create your PBE account, you have to go to the official Riot Games website, and there you will be able to create an account if the account you are signing up with meets all the criteria.

Check this link: https://pbesignup.na.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/pbe

  1. If you meet all the criteria, you need to sign up in the top right, then refresh the page.
  2. Press the orange button that says “Check my Eligibility”
  3. If the system approves your account you will be able to download the PBE server.
  4. When you download the PBE server you need to update it and then you will be able to log in and normally choose Teamfight Tactitcs game as you normally do.

Not to forget, playing Teamfight Tactics on PBE is only available to PC users; players playing the mobile version will have to wait if Riot Games decides to allow the mobile version to access the PBE server as well.

The PBE server is special because it is up before regular servers, which means that players with a PBE account will be able to try out new updates and Sets two weeks before the others. However, don’t forget that this is a testing server which means it is not uncommon for a lot of glitches, bugs, or overpowered champions to appear.

Riot Games tests new content this way, which doesn’t necessarily mean that the same content will be inserted into the regular game when a new update arrives. Sometimes it happens that certain content never sees the light of day but stays in the test version. If you want to participate in creating content for Teamfight Tactics, you can always send an email and describe all the pros and cons of the new update you tried on the PBE server.

Final Thoughts

For all of you who don’t know, Riot Games has a special server that serves to play new patches within Teamfight Tactics before they are released to the public and available to all other players.

This is called PBE – Public Beta Environment, and any player who has a valid Riot account with a minimum Honor level two, no bans and restriction can access it. The PBE account is tied to a special server that players must download in order to sign in and play the beta version of the new Patches.

This is a great opportunity for all players who want to test new comps champions and see the Little Legends new skins before their public announcement. However, keep in mind that this is a test server so that you can expect a lot of lags or bugs, and if you want, you can write to the Riot team’s support team to point out some of the problems you encountered while playing on the PBE server.

Also, remember not to have high expectations because all of this content is subject to change. There’s a good chance that most of it won’t be released at all, so don’t think that if something is on the list for a new Patch, will be found when new update comes and you start playing Teamfight Tactics again on a regular server instead of a PBE server.

In this article, we have left a link where you can sign up for your PBE account and download the Teamfight Tactics PBE server. Good luck and have fun!

Patient Number 9 Lyrics – Ozzy Osbourne

[Intro]
“Is there a way out of here?”
“Hey, I love you, but you [?]”
“I wanna go home”
“Hey, hahaha”
“Hahaha”
“Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?”
“Hahaha”
“I want to go home”
“Hahaha”
“Mommy, mommy”

[Verse 1]
Every hallway’s painted white as the light
That will guide you to your help
Making friends with strangers inside my mind
‘Cause they seem to know me well

[Pre-Chorus]
Hiding the pills inside your mouth
Swallow ’em down, then spit them out
I hear the laughter scream and shout
“No tomorrow”

[Chorus]
When they call your name, better run and hide
Tell you you’re insane, you believe their lies
I’m not gettin’ out, no, I’m not gettin’ out alive (Ooh)
I’m not gettin’ out ’cause I’m patient number nine (Ooh)

[Verse 2]
When the sun goes down, the animals cry
That’s a sound you won’t forget
It’s the mirror’s face you don’t recognise
It’ll get you in the end

[Pre-Chorus]
Hiding the pills inside your mouth
Swallow ’em down, then spit them out
I hear the laughter scream and shout
“Someone help me”

[Chorus]
When they call your name, better run and hide
Tell you you’re insane, you believe their lies
I’m not gettin’ out, no, I’m not gettin’ out alive (Ooh)
I’m not gettin’ out ’cause I’m patient number nine (Ooh)

[Guitar Solo]

[Bridge]
When the walls of a padded cell become reality
How many tears till I ground myself ’cause no one cries for me?
If there’s a God, why’d he let the Devil do his work on me? Oh yeah
If there’s a God, what am I doing here?

[Chorus]
When they call your name, better run and hide
Tell you you’re insane, you believe their lies
I’m not gettin’ out, no, I’m not gettin’ out alive (Ooh)
I’m not gettin’ out ’cause I’m patient number nine (Ooh)

[Guitar Solo]

I love the way she ride me

Girl, gwan-gwan, ride me all night long
Whoa-whoa-whoa, that thong
Made me write this song (Whoa-whoa-whoa)

I know you not gon’ walk by me
Without some conversation, I’m waiting
I been patient to make a statement
Tryna give you validation, something sacred

When you’re naked, it’s ya’ body
If you make a play, have to come and get ya’ (Hey, have to come and get ya’)
Money wasted but it’s on you
So it really ain’t money wasted

If you get too picky for me, baby, be a billionaire
Oh, I got it on me, baby, shots up in the air
Why the f**k is yo’ ex calling? Tryna disappear?
I been chilling, my ex calling, tryna reappear

Showing off her body
F**king with the man
It’s a lot of things you gotta understand to stand beside me (Down down)
I’m not just anybody

She a good girl and she get it from her mami (Mami)
When she f**k me like a thotty
Make her hips twirl, that’s the way she hypnotize me
I love the way she ride me

I Miss You (Skin To Skin) Lyrics – Dylan Conrique

[Verse 1]
All those nights
Where we laughed until the sun came up
I had to have you
And no matter how late it got
I didn’t even care if my mom found out
I had to

[Pre-Chorus]
Now I’m lying in my bed
I’ve been in it since you left
Truth is nothing that you said
Could make me love you less

[Chorus]
I hate myself
For missing, missing you
I know I’m not supposed to
I wish I could forget you
But it’s so hard to
I know I’m not supposed to
I-I miss you, I-I miss you
I-I miss you, miss you, miss you (I-I, I-I)

[Verse 2]
Reckless nights
It was dangerous but you got me so high
What happened to you?
‘Cause we went from skin to skin
To you never wanna see me ever again
Said you had to, why’d you have to?

[Pre-Chorus]
Now I’m lying in my bed
I’ve been in it since you left
Truth is nothing that you said
Could make me love you less

[Chorus]
I hate myself
For missing, missing you
I know I’m not supposed to
I wish I could forget you
But it’s so hard to
I know I’m not supposed to
I-I miss you, I-I miss you
I-I miss you, miss you, miss you (I-I, I-I)

[Bridge]
All those stupid fights
That go ’til I cry
I don’t know how to leave them behind
Venom falls from your lips
The same ones I used to kiss
And I’m trying to get you out of my mind

[Chorus]
I hate myself (I hate myself)
For missing, missing you (Miss you)
I know I’m not supposed to
I wish I could (I wish I could) forget you
But it’s so hard to (Hard to)
I know I’m not supposed to
I-I miss you, I-I miss you
I-I miss you, miss you, miss you (I-I, I-I)
I-I miss you, I-I miss you
I-I miss you
